GoodSpeed app for iPhone and iPad

We already know. If we drive above the speed limit the risk of getting involved in a car accident and get injured or killed and do harm to others increases significantly. Still most of us is having a hard time staying within the limits.

The purpose of GoodSpeed is to help drivers to avoid speeding and change their driving behavior over time to the benefit of traffic safety, the society, environment and reduce the individual drivers fuel consumption.

When you start the app, when driving it will register whether you are staying within the speed limits. If you, by accident, drives too fast, the phone will send a little signal and the screen will change color, drawing your attention to your speed, so you can correct it.

However, if you are not speeding you will be rewarded with points and badges and in time will achieve new driver levels. We will also initiate competitions, in which you can win different prizes. The likelihood of you winning will depend on how responsible you are driving.

Vi collect data about driving, but not the individual driver. This means that the data we collect can be associated with you as a user and driver. You are anonymous.

GoodSpeed can’t be held responsible for your driving. The actual speed limits and traffic rules ALWAYS prevail. You can use the app as a speedometer and put in a fixed holder or put on the dashboard (make sure it secure). Alternatively, you should put away the phone with the app on, so you can focus on the traffic. DRIVE WHILE DRIVING!

The app is only using your location, while driving and does not use noteworthy battery time beyond that.
